| I
really love the cover for this book, it's so romantic, and
no way is it possible to miss that the book is set in Paris.
Since I haven't visited the 'City of Lights' for myself, I
had to rely on research, lots of research. Luckily, my dear
friend, historical writer, Sophia James, visited Paris last
Christmas and it's through her that I know the pools around
the glass pyramid at the Louvre were actually emptied for
repairs at that time.
How's
that for accuracy? As for the rest of my research I have to thank
the DK, Eyewitness travel guide of France, the graphics are
splendid, and Sarah Turnbull's autobiographical book, Almost
French, for giving me a feel for Paris and its citizens. I highly
recommend both books.

Roxie Kincaid
my heroine is a fashion designer honing her craft with one of the
big name couturiers, and I have to thank Jane Daniels, a New
Zealand designer, for her insights on the craft.
As for Mac
McBride, he popped up in my last book, Stranded
with a Stranger and refused to go away until I found him a
good woman of his own.
I've already had one reader assure me that
as a couple, Roxie and Mac sizzle!!! Thanks Laura. I hope everyone
else enjoys the story as much a she did.
Thanks for
looking in,
